As the festive season approaches, the car market is gearing up for a wave of new launches. September and October are expected to be especially exciting, with major releases from Hyundai and Kia. Hyundai is set to launch the facelifted version of its popular 7-seater SUV, the Alcazar, while Kia is preparing to introduce the next-generation Carnival MPV. Additionally, Kia might unveil its much-anticipated electric SUV, the EV9. Here’s a closer look at what these upcoming models have to offer.

    2025 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

Hyundai is set to launch the updated version of its 7-seater SUV, the Alcazar, on September 9. The 2025 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift will come with several upgrades in both its exterior and interior. While it will retain the same engine options as the previous model—a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel and a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine—the facelift will bring a refreshed look and enhanced features.

Among the new features are sporty design alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Alcazar will also offer ventilated front seats, a dual panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and over 20 features of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Additionally, automatic climate control will ensure comfort for all passengers.

    New Kia Carnival

Kia Motors is all set to launch the next-generation Kia Carnival on September 9 in the Indian market. This premium MPV will be available with multiple seating configurations, catering to families and luxury seekers alike. The new Carnival will be powered by a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Carnival will be packed with features to enhance the driving experience. These include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, and a 360-degree camera. For added convenience, it will also offer a head-up display and ADAS.

    Kia EV9

Kia India is also planning to introduce its new electric SUV, the Kia EV9, in the coming months. This 7-seater electric SUV will be built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and is expected to be brought to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The EV9 will likely offer an impressive range of up to 550 kilometers on a single charge.

In terms of features, the Kia EV9 is expected to come loaded with advanced technology, making it a strong contender in the electric SUV segment. Although details are still under wraps, the EV9’s launch is highly anticipated, especially among those looking for a spacious and feature-rich electric vehicle.
