Mahindra & Mahindra continues to dominate the SUV market in India, with its lineup of robust vehicles appealing to a wide range of customers. The company is set to further enhance its portfolio with the upcoming launch of the Thar Rocks, a 5-door variant of the popular Thar, on August 15, 2024. This new model is expected to feature a sunroof and a larger display screen, adding to its appeal.

In July 2024, Mahindra’s SUVs saw significant sales figures, with the Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic models leading the pack.

    Mahindra Scorpio Series

The Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic collectively secured the top spot for Mahindra, with 12,237 units sold in July.

The versatile XUV700, available in 5 to 7-seater configurations, sold 7,769 units in July, reflecting a 26% increase in sales compared to the same period last year.

    Mahindra Bolero

The enduring favorite, Mahindra Bolero, attracted 6,930 customers, making it the fourth best-selling vehicle for the company.

However, the company’s only electric offering, the XUV400 EV, faced challenges with just 288 units sold, a significant 59% decline year-on-year.

    Mahindra Marazzo

The Mahindra Marazzo, on the other hand, continued to struggle, with only 14 units sold in July.

As Mahindra gears up for the launch of Thar Rocks, all eyes are on how the new addition will perform in the competitive SUV market.
