Royal Enfield, a name synonymous with retro and cruiser motorcycles in India, has launched the much-awaited 2024 model of the Classic 350. This latest version comes packed with new features and a starting ex-showroom price of under Rs 2 lakh. As a best-seller in the Royal Enfield lineup, the Classic 350 is expected to continue its stronghold in the market with these upgrades. Here’s what’s new in the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350.

    Enhanced Features for Modern Riders

Royal Enfield has focused on enhancing the features of the Classic 350, making it more appealing to modern-day riders. The 2024 model now includes LED pilot lights, headlights, and taillamps in all variants, ensuring better visibility and safety during rides. The top two variants of the bike also come equipped with LED indicators and the much-desired Tripper navigation pod, which provides turn-by-turn directions, making it easier for riders to navigate.

In addition to these features, the new Classic 350 also offers adjustable levers as a standard across all variants, providing riders with more comfort and control. The dual-channel ABS system, which is now available in every variant, ensures enhanced braking performance and safety, particularly in challenging road conditions.

Retained Performance with the J Platform Engine

Under the hood, the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 continues to be powered by the J platform air-cooled 349cc engine. This single-cylinder motor, known for its reliability and robust performance, delivers the classic thump that Royal Enfield enthusiasts love. The engine retains its characteristic charm while offering a smooth and consistent ride.

A significant update in the 2024 model is the removal of the single-channel ABS option. Royal Enfield has also done away with all variants featuring drum brakes on the rear wheel, focusing on enhancing safety and braking efficiency across the board.

Variants and Pricing: Something for Every Rider

The 2024 Classic 350 is available in five distinct variants: Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signal, Dark, and Chrome. Each variant offers something unique, catering to different preferences and styles. The Heritage and Heritage Premium models focus on classic aesthetics, with vintage-inspired designs and colors. The Signal variant pays homage to the brand’s association with the Indian Armed Forces, featuring military-themed colors and graphics.

For riders who prefer a modern and sleek look, the Dark variant offers a contemporary design with matte finishes and blacked-out elements. The Chrome variant, on the other hand, is all about bling, featuring shiny chrome details that make it stand out on the road.

The ex-showroom prices for the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 range from Rs 1,99,500 to Rs 2.30 lakh, depending on the variant. Despite the upgrades, Royal Enfield has managed to keep the starting price under Rs 2 lakh, making it an attractive option for both new buyers and loyal fans.

    Competing in a Crowded Market

In the Indian motorcycle market, the 2024 Classic 350 will face competition from several other bikes, including the Triumph Speed 400, Harley-Davidson X440, Jawa 350, and Honda CB350. However, with its blend of modern features, classic design, and competitive pricing, the new Classic 350 is well-positioned to maintain its popularity.

A Promising Update for Royal Enfield Fans

With the launch of the 2024 Classic 350, Royal Enfield continues to solidify its reputation as a leading player in the cruiser and retro bike segment. The new features and design updates are likely to attract a wider audience, while the retention of the trusted J platform engine ensures that the bike remains true to its roots. The 2024 Classic 350 is expected to contribute significantly to Royal Enfield’s sales, helping the company maintain its dominance in the Indian motorcycle market.
