    April 2025 is going to be one of the most exciting months for car lovers in India. If you are planning to buy a new car or SUV, this month is packed with fresh options from top brands like Tata Motors, Volkswagen, Maruti Suzuki, MG Motor, Skoda, and Citroen.     Volkswagen Tiguan R Line: Premium SUV with Performance Focus

    Volkswagen is ready to launch the Tiguan R Line in India on 14 April 2025. This model is not just a regular Tiguan with extra features—it’s the performance-spec version, which will be fully imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit). That means it will have global-level finishing and specifications.

    • Engine: 2.0-litre turbo-petrol
    • Power: 201 BHP, Torque: 320 Nm
    • Transmission: 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic
    • Drive Type: Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system

    The Tiguan R Line is for those who love powerful engines and comfortable premium interiors. Since it’s a CBU, the price will be on the higher side.

    Tata Harrier EV: Tata’s Big Step in Electric SUV Segment

    Tata Motors is all set to enter the premium electric SUV space with the launch of the Tata Harrier EV. The company had earlier shown the production model at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. Now, the vehicle may arrive in showrooms this month.

    This electric Harrier will be based on Tata’s new EV platform called acti.ev. It will come with a dual-motor setup and all-wheel-drive system.

    Maruti Suzuki eVX (E Vitara): First Full Electric SUV from Maruti

    Maruti Suzuki will be launching its first fully-electric SUV in India, expected to be called eVX or E Vitara, in the second half of April 2025. The electric SUV has already made a global debut at the EICMA 2025 in Milan and was also shown at the India Mobility Expo earlier this year.

    It will be based on the Hortect-E Platform specially made for EVs and will offer two battery pack options to choose from.

    • Battery Pack Options: 49 kWh and 61 kWh
    • Expected Range: Up to 500 km per charge

    With Maruti’s strong service network and trust factor, the eVX is expected to attract many first-time EV buyers.

    MG Cyberster: Stylish Electric Sports Car Coming to India

    MG Motors, now working in partnership with JSW Group, is preparing to introduce something completely unique in India—the MG Cyberster. It’s not your regular EV but a proper electric sportscar. The company has already started teasing this car on its social media platforms.

    The Cyberster will be sold via MG Select showrooms and will arrive as a CBU model. Pre-bookings have already started, hinting that the launch is near.

    Skoda is all set to bring the second-generation Kodiaq SUV to India in April. This new version has already been launched in global markets and now it’s India’s turn. The SUV will arrive via CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route, meaning it will be assembled locally but with imported parts.

    Tata Curvv / Curvv EV Dark Edition: Stylish Blacked-Out Versions

    After finding success with the Dark Editions of Nexon, Harrier, and Safari, Tata Motors is preparing to roll out the Dark Edition of its Curvv series, including both petrol/diesel and EV versions.

    These versions won’t see mechanical changes but will carry cosmetic upgrades with blacked-out elements inside and out.
